Numerous climbing courses for beginners and advanced climbers are offered in Warth and the surrounding area in the most beautiful climbing areas on the Arlberg.

Our luxurious hotel is characterized by tradition and style. Paired with fantastic surroundings for climbing, hiking and mountain biking, you will find traditional values combined with feel-good charm and character.

The Lech Valley Lodge with its tastefully designed Lodges, Chalets, Suites and cozy Double rooms for 2 – 8 people is located right next to the cable car. This takes you directly to the unique Eldorado for climbing and your climbing tours.

After an eventful tour, you can treat yourself to typical Austrian specialties and a glass of wine or beer in our traditional restaurant or you can cook in your lodge and enjoy the evening on the balcony or in the cozy living room.

If you still feel like it, you can end the evening in our Alpen Lounge & Bar.

Warth not only offers numerous opportunities for big climbers, but small climbing are also well catered for here. The beautiful nature with its fantastic mountain scenery is also the gateway to the largest and most luxurious ski area in the Austrian Alps.

30 Climbing Routes from 4b - 7c

The attractive climbing garden in Warth-Schrofenwies in the breathtaking natural setting was completely overhauled a few years ago. It is a highlight and has been given numerous new routes and the old routes have been redesigned and deforested.

With various levels of difficulty, the park is ideal for climbing for almost all age groups with 30 routes from 4b – 7c.

Climbing in Austria means not only climbing on the mountain, but also enjoying fantastic nature between lush meadows, alpine pastures and huts. For this reason, the Arlberg is not only an excellent choice for anyone visiting Austria for climbing, but also for hikers and all other visitors who simply want to admire the unspoiled nature with its variety of creatures and plants.

Clear, cold mountain lakes in the Arlberg region invite you to swim or simply relax.

CLIMBING FOR EXPERTS AND PROFESSIONALS

Are you an experienced mountain climber? Then you should definitely plan a tour to the summit of the Weißschrofenspitze at an altitude of 2,752 meters. The approx. 3 km long and varied Arlberg via ferrata is one of the most beautiful and unique in the Alpine region and is internationally known.

After one of the most difficult mountain tours, you will be rewarded with a fantastic view of the vacation region. This tour not only requires skill, but also full climbing equipment.

If you realize during the tour that you don’t have enough strength, you have the option of shortening the tour via safe emergency exits and returning to the valley. Afterwards, you can enjoy a massage at our hotel or swim a lap in the pool and then enjoy the sauna and our exclusive loungers.

WINTER CLIMBING IN AUSTRIA

This is also possible on the Arlberg and enjoys great popularity. With the right equipment, you can climb the mountain to over 2,700 meters and experience a descent in the open ski area outside the secured slopes. Numerous lifts facilitate your high alpine climbing experience and pure adventure.

We are also located right at the entrance to the Ski Arlberg. Of course, we also cater for our junior skiers in winter. The Warth ski school is right next to the Lech Valley Lodge.
